Tim Tebow promoted to join St. Lucie Mets in AA League

Tim Tebow’s baseball career appears to be far from over. The former Heisman Trophy winner is being promoted from the Columbia Fireflies to the St. Lucie Metss of the Advanced A League, the New York Mets announced. Tebow, 29, hit .222 with the Fireflies, with the three home runs, 23 RBIs and a .311 on-base percentage. The 2017 Professional Basketball Combine, not to be confused with the NBA Combine, kicked off Tuesday at IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida. Former UF Athletics Director Jeremy Foley to become Professor of Practice in Sport Leadership

It’s been less than a year since Jeremy Foley announced he was retiring after 25 years as Florida’s athletics director.
