Coach Will Muschamp’s transformation of the Florida football program from a 7-6 team in his first year to an 11-1 club that finished the regular season ranked No. 3 in the BCS standings in a year’s time has been amazing. Florida’s recruiting efforts at running back are getting interesting with the decommitment Sunday of Stone Mountain, Ga., running back Mike Davis. Florida, although a longshot, is in the running for Raleigh (N.C.) Millbrook running back Keith Marshall, who will make his college choice public at 2:45 p.m. today. Alabama is predicted to win the SEC Championship by the media for the fourth time since 1992. The previous times (and the actual finish) were: 1993 (lost in SEC Championship Game), 2000 (tied for fifth in West) and 2010 (fourth in West).
