Political correctness is a term invented by nuts who try to justify their own behavior. They also claim the right to free speech means they can say anything they wish and face no consequences. They’re half right.

Go ahead and spout racism or insult women, Jews, Muslims or any one else. The diversity comments are fine That’s what free speech is. But free speech doesn’t mean the people around you have to like or agree with what you say. It especially doesn’t mean they have to associate with you.

Finally, free speech means that others can express themselves freely about your level of character or intelligence. If you happen to be a broadcaster, free speech allows people to let your employer and your sponsors that they don’t like you and will avoid their products.

I thought the young Collinsworth comments were funny, just like I thought most of the 1980’s were funny, in the years before a giant humor-sucking roach apparetnly crawled up America’s colon to devour our healthy capacity for sophomoric humor and self-depracation. Collinsworth is a politically correct tool who has vicitmized himself by essentially apologizing to himself for himself. Loser.

“What if” scenario to ease the pain: If Spurrier was the coach at Florida while Collinsworth was there, he would have cut him and sent him back to Titusville. Then we wouldn’t have to be exposed to his raucous and perverted comments on the air.

OMG, please fire the guy, get counseling for his wife and children, have a conference for all girls from 14-18 and tell them about the dangers of idolization of a sport star. Geez, this is so sad but at the same time, the society that we live in. Was it insensitive? Borderline. Could it of been corse jesting, absolutely!!! Look out for what you do today, because it might be brought out in the future. Kind of like time in a bottle. LOL
