Former Gators QB Tim Tebow reportedly to speak at Republican National Convention

Tim Tebow is back in the news, albeit with slightly more controversy this time. According to The New York Times, the former NFL quarterback will speak at the Republican National Convention in Cleveland next week. Tim Tebow praised for helping man suffering from heart attack on Delta flight

Former Florida quarterback Tim Tebow is receiving praise after reportedly helping save a man’s life following a heart attack on a Delta flight Sunday. Richard V. Gotti shared a picture and a message to Delta’s Facebook page describing an incident he witnessed while traveling from Atlanta to Phoenix. Tim Tebow broke SEC records, won a Heisman Trophy and helped Florida capture two BCS National Championships under former coach Urban Meyer. After nearly 40 years at the University of Florida, athletics director Jeremy Foley announced his retirement, effective Oct. 1, on Monday. U.S. Senator Marco Rubio wants statue of Tim Tebow in U.S. Capitol

If Marco Rubio had it his way, former Heisman Trophy-winning quarterback Tim Tebow would have a statue in the U.S. Capitol building. According to the Palm Beach Post, the U.S. Capitol’s National Statuary Hall is in need of a new statue to replace Confederate General Edmund Kirby Smith as one of Florida’s two representatives.
